As with most places in Alaska, the best way to get to Glennallen is by car. It’s easy to get from Anchorage to the Caribou Hotel & Restaurant, but feel free to give us a call if you need directions.

From Anchorage
Head East on 5^th Avenue, which becomes the Glenn Highway (AK-1), as you head out of town. Continue on the Glenn for about 34 miles. You will see signs for AK-1 and Palmer. Take the exit towards Palmer while remaining on the Glenn. Stay on the Glenn Highway all the way to Glennallen.

Enjoy the drive to Glennallen through the Matanuska Valley, and be sure to enjoy stunning views of the Matanuska Glacier!
